Our Utah State Fair Purchase

We bought a hot tub at the State Fair! Kim always said he would have a hot tub some day on this back porch of ours, and I always laughed and didn't believe him. He had it wired for one about 10 years ago, and when we remodeled our living room, we put a new door here, with a window, so if we ever got a hot tub, we could watch the grandkids while they played in it. Well, Kim really bought one! It totally shocked me! It is a small one that fits 3 people, and it is the perfect size for mostly just the 2 of us. One step out the door, and we are in the tub. It is a convenient place, and it is covered. It was especially nice the other day to sit in it while it was snowing. Finally after 33 years, we are using our back porch for something!

There used to be a nasty old door here that had been locked , with a skeleton key I might add, and had never been opened because.....who still has skeleton keys????? So we never used this porch. (Actually you can kind of see the old door leaning against the house there, after it was just taken out.)
