This Past couple of weeks, I have really been feeling sorry for myself. Yup. I admit it. I'm getting it all out on my blog. I have had more friends and family, and neighbors gone somewhere warm and sunny, (including my husband) and I have been here in one snowstorm after another. Now it wouldn't seem so bad if I didn't know
SO many people that were gone on vacation to warm climates, and it just kept snowing here. So I decided, (while my friends and family were enjoying sunshine and air conditioning), that I was going to find beauty of our snow and be happy that we have this season here, which I will admit, I love winter. I just wanted to be with Kim in Texas where it was 75 degress, or a ton of other places my friends, neighbors, and family were visiting. So here is some really pretty pictures of winter here in my yard. I tried to enjoy these as "
you all played on the beach, wore shorts, or golfed on gorgous greens." LOL .
I even wanted to be on vacation in Mexico so much, I went and got me a passport, so I can go!! I have never had a passport before, and knowing I couldn't go on a cruise in the Carribean ever without a passport, I went and applied for one, and Kim is going to also. So that is how bad I was feeling sorry for myself.
Pathetic me! But I am perking up some, now everyone is coming home. Hope you like my winter pictures.

This picture, was because I think ice cycles are really fun, and our house has tons of them.

The snow really is pretty when it is fresh and white. We haven't gotten to dig us out completely since yesterdays storm which I may add:
Mountain Green was on the weather last night about us getting 23 inches of snow yesterday!

This picture was gorgous after a light snow on every branch, and the sun coming out. I love this picture.

Look how every branch of these trees and bushes are covered with ice crystals of snow. It looked beautiful.
I hope you all had a great vacation!
Mom, you totally need to plan a short day trip to Maui Tan or some other tropical tanning salon. That always boosts my spirits on cold wintery blah days. It's been a relatively sunny winter here in salt lake so I haven't felt my spirits down yet. I can't believe I haven't tanned once! hahaha
ReplyDeleteThat sounds good. I think I have 2 tans left that I didn't use when I went to Hawaii. I should go see if they still have my name in their files.
ReplyDeleteI agree. I love snow, but I think this year, due to being cooped up so much with the Little One, I feel like I'm going crazy somewhat! I can't wait for spring. Oh well...
ReplyDeleteIf you're going to go on a cruise, you may as well do it now with the prices being so killer. Just a thought.
