Shane had a GREAT SUGAR BOWL Party at our home, for friends from all areas of his life, in the past and present. I don't know if I got everyone's picture on this blog, but I tried to get as many as possible. We figured 35 people came and went throughout the evening. Here are some fun pictures below.

The extra point, after the first touchdown.

Our granddaughter Ava, was in the Ute spirit. She came to cheer!

Dave and his girlfriend, were good sports, although they both bleed blue. (She is at the U for her graduate studies though).

An untimely thing happened just before half time.
The power went out. That is not a good thing with a house full of guests, and no candles/lanterns close by. Shane was sick. (Actually, everyone was sick about it.) To plan this party, and to go to all of this work and then have the power go out. Thank goodness, JR went to his house and got a generator, and pretty soon, the TV was going, and it was just after half time, and though nothing else worked in the house, the game was back on screen! There was a big cheer from the crowd!
Another fun thing was when Heather, (Shane's cousin from Hawaii) called during the game when the Utes had just scored 3 touchdowns quickly, and all of the party told Heather, 'aloha'. She called again when the game was over. (Heather.....that was fun.....thanks!)

Those that finished out the party after the game was over. (About 10 left when the power went out). Check out the videos below. They are crazy!
We didn't have quite that large of group at our house, but it was so fun to watch the Utes win!! My heart was back at home last night and cheering with you!!
