Dad and I spent the day together and we went back to West Mountain/Payson and I took a few pictures that were important to me.
This is the home I grew up in my whole life. It pretty much looks just like it did when I lived there. When my mom died, we sold it. I had a lot of pictures taken of me as a girl, on the first day of school standing in front of that front door.
The 'West Ward', as it was called then. It has been renamed today. My house is just to the left of this church, down the road a little.
The lawn behind the church, where I used to play softball. I have great memories of spending time there. The old back stop is still in front of those 2 last pine trees you see out there.
My elementary school. Wilson Elementary. I went there 1-6th grade. Kindergarten was at Park View Elementary. After 6th grade, I went to Middle School, which they have torn down since I have been to Payson, and replaced it with a church. I didn't know that until today while dad and I were driving around.
Not a very good picture of my High School, but this is it. I have such great memories here. I love my high school days.
A picture of dad while we were at lunch.
After we had lunch. I know I look like I just woke up. Sorry about that. It was windy and what can I say?
A picture of where they will be building the 'Payson Temple', which I am so excited about.
Back at dad's house. We had such a fun dad/daughter day.
I have never seen a picture of the house you guys grew up in! How fun to see West Mountain pictures I have heard many stories but it is nice to put a visual to the stories my dad has told me over the years! Thanks!
