This is the most fun thing to do for those of you who bottle fruit. Color your pears different colors for holidays. My yellow ones are for Easter. Red; Christmas and Valentines Day, green; St. Patty's Day or Christmas. This year I tried something that I haven't tasted yet. The green bottle I put mint flavoring in. I think it sounds good, but after several days of soaking into the pear, I am going to open it and try it. Who knows. Maybe it will be really good!! Canning Colored Pears
