Grandpa telling a Christmas story to Brock and Gage

Last night, we went to Tiff and Jon's and watched the boys while they went to the Glen Beck concert. We turned the light's all off except the Christmas tree, and Kim told them a story when he was a little boy and he wanted a Red Ryder bee bee gun, and how he thought he didn't get it and how sad he was, till later that evening, his dad told him to look behind the tree, and there it was.

I think they liked his story. Then I told a story of riding in a sleigh my dad had someone make, and his horse pulled it and the reins had bells on it, and on the slippery roads, we went all around West Mountain sitting on bales of straw, all bundled up and drank hot chocolate and ate doenuts while we traveled down the road. That was a fun memory I had as a child.

It was fun seeing the excitement of the boys with their Christmas tree. Gage is going to be a total blast at Christmas.
